OUR STORY

Summer 1999 — Created with the sole purpose of sending nine young men to college. Eric Metcalf would successfully send each member to Institutes of higher education. What began that summer was the beginning of a legacy. Seatown Express is now the Pacific Northwest’s Elite Track and Field program; Over 15 years they have successfully trained 300+ athletes, 98% being accepted to higher educational institutions. Former athletes have also reached the highest athletic success in the NCAA, NBA, NFL, CFL, and USATF World Teams

SEATOWN TRACK OVERVIEW

Seatown Express has proven to be the sprint powerhouse of the Pacific Northwest; producing World Champions, US National Champions, and All Americans. Our greatest successes have been in the 400m and 200m sprints, 100m hurdles, and sprint relays. Mid Distance and Distance events have resulted in All Americans and Distance Relays National Champions.

ALL AMERICAN – IN DEPTH

Historically, we have been balanced in the sprint, hurdle, and relay events. Only recently has the 400M emerged as the signature event of Seatown Express. 2011 – 2013 were our most successful seasons in recent history, producing National Titles in the YM 4X4 (2011) and YM 400m (2012). Washington All-Time Bests were also set in the YW 4X4 Relay AND YM 4X4 Relay in 2012!

SEATOWN FIELD OVERVIEW

Seatown Express has proven to be a powerful representative for the Pacific Northwest. We have produced National Champions, All Americans, and State Record holders in several events ranging from jumps to throws. We’ve found our greatest success in the horizontal jumps, discus, and multis. The vertical jump events have also garnered All American Honors and National Championships.

ALL AMERICAN – IN DEPTH

We’ve found success in all field events with horizontal jumps reigning supreme. About half of our Field All Americans have been produced in the Triple and Long Jump alone; scoring 13 of the 15 years of our organization’s existence. Recent standout performances include 3 consecutive National IB/YM Javelin titles in 2008-2010 and National YW Heptathlon Title.
